Zoe Kravitz and Jimmy Fallon discuss Robert Pattinson’s fun camera test for The Batman in George Clooney’s costume


Following the release of trailers and teasers for The Batman, fans are certain that Zoe Kravitz and Robert Pattinson are the ideal casting choices for the roles of Catwoman and Batman.

On Wednesday night, the actress appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and discussed her chemistry-laden screen test with the film’s titular hero, Robert Pattinson.

“They dressed him in the George Clooney costume,” Kravitz said on the Jimmy Fallon show, referring to Clooney’s portrayal as Batman in the 1997 film Batman & Robin.

Zoe first described the screen-testing experience as “funny” as Pattinson was dressed “just from the waist down” in the nippled Batsuit, adding,

“He was wearing sweatpants downstairs!”

During their first screen test, Kravitz called Pattinson’s ensemble “Casual Batman.”

Although the two actors have known each other for years, this was the first time they shared the big screen as a couple. Speaking further, she added:

“I was so scared I was just going to think, ‘Oh my god, that’s Rob dressed up as Batman, that’s weird!’ But he was so wonderful that I totally forgot it was him, which is really impressive.'”

Jimmy went on to praise Kravitz for his brilliant on-screen portrayal, saying that while Pattison played an amazing Batman, Zoe was “phenomenal” as Catwoman.

She then revealed that she would be hosting Saturday Night Live the following weekend after the release of The Batman.

Later, when Fallon was asked how he would channel Catwoman if given the option, he suggested drinking milk from a bowl. Zoe chimed in, okay:

“I did this! I’m method, man.”

Previously speaking about her intense chemistry with Pattinson, Zoe revealed to Entertainment Weekly:

“A lot could happen in a scene, but if I could connect with Rob and look him in the eye, it would immediately bring me into the moment. I saw a look in his eyes that I didn’t have. never seen before. . Seeing something new and also very vulnerable was really beautiful.”

The Batmandirected by Cloverfield’s Matt Reeves, will expose audiences to a new version of Bruce Wayne, played by Pattinson.

The film also stars Peter Sarsgaard, Jeffrey Wright and Andy Serkis, along with Paul Dano as Riddler and Colin Farrell as Penguin.

The Batman hits theaters on March 4.
